Summary: Segment 1 - Have you got the travelling kid blues? Are you tired of hearing "Are we there yet?" Being prepared is half the battle. Maybe we can help soothe your summer travel plans for a day trip or a longer vacation. Join home economist, Sheila Stark-Perreault, as she chats briefly about travel games for the road and shows you how to make some of your own. She shares some classics like the "license plate game" and will show you how to make a magnetic tic/tac/toe as well as word games using simple inexpensive supplies.

Segment 2 - Summer snacks can be fun, nutritious and delicious. Join Sheila as she gives you some simple summer snacking tips and ideas. Learn to make a simple travel trail mix with oatmeal bites to take along. It's easy and the kids can help too!

Summary: Learn how to make your own bubble solution using common household ingredients. A basic bubble recipe as well as a stronger bubble recipe will be shared.

We will explore different options for "bubble blowers". This will include store bought wands, common household items that can be used and ways to create your own blower.

Finally, a bubble craft will be demonstrated. This activity can be used to create wrapping paper or cards that are as unique as the person receiving them.

Using simple heart molds and colored chocolate we can create fun treats to eat.

Basic heart shaped cookie cutters can turn a basic sandwich into a piece of edible art.
