Application Process - Member Renewal

Renewing MAHE Members

You may choose to complete your membership renewal via our online registration system (with online credit card processing) or through forms that may be printed and submitted by mail with your cheque payable to MAHE. If you are a previous member who wishes to rejoin, please This email address is being protected from spambots. Effective September, 2014, any undergraduate/graduate student registered in the Home Economics/Human Ecology field of study may apply for free MAHE membership. As with all MAHE memberships, acceptance is subject to approval by the Admissions Committee. Renewal is required annually.

Fees for Completion of Forms for Other Regulators

MAHE charges fees for completing verification of registration and licensure or similar forms that are required by other regulators. Payment must be submitted with the original forms by mail in order for the forms to be completed. Payment can be made by cheque (payable to the Manitoba Association of Home Economists); for alternate payment arrangments, please contact the MAHE office. The fees cover the administrative costs of completing the forms. If the other regulator requires you to be/have been a Registered member in order to have the verification of registration/licensure form completed, this means that you must be a Professional Home Economist/PHEc at the time of application or have been one during your previous membership with the Association. Please note these fees do not apply to membership transfers between provincial associations (OHEA, AHEA, NBHEA).

Note: a $4.50 processing fee applies.

 Please check your Member Profile to ensure your information is up to date. You may do this via the My Details link or by going to Member Profile and clicking Edit (members must login).


To print and mail in your membership renewal forms:

  1. General Information and Dues
  2. Membership Renewal form
  3. Limitation to use of personal information form
  4. Review the Code of Professional Conduct

Simply complete the renewal form and mail to MAHE along with the required membership dues as outlined on the General Information and Dues sheet. Please also sign and include the Limitation to Use form if you wish.
